Big finacial situation
Hi everyone, I am in a big situation. I recently joined a company and after joining they circulated an voluntary insurance for parents which is totally employee funded. I thought i should take it and when i took it the premium was showing as 14000 for 8 lakhs premium and i took it. After sometime another email came on march that the premium was calculated on pro rata basis only for 2 months. Total premium is 96000 /year for 8 lakh premium. They are saying you cannot downgrade or opt from the plan as it has 3 year lock in period. I did a mistake i did not read the terms and condition properly but now my salary is 6.5 lpa and from that paying 96000 per year is not possible for me . I won’t be able to survive in here. I told them i cannot continue this . They are saying nothing can be done . Exception cannot be made for you. What should i do?
