Deloitte - Still negotiating trying for 30-35 lpa I am prioritizing long term employment as well as personal/ professional growth as I have major family responsibilities coming ahead in next year. I have actually made my decision, I will be joining ICS at technical lead - 37 LPA. They offered a sweet deal that is too good to resist.

What to do get High package?

Hi friends again I want to seek your help. I am a really frustrated guy and hopeless because I am quite unable to achieve anything. I have family to support and have thought that after Engineering life will get better but seems everything turned out reverse. I am civil engineer with 7 years work ex and package is below 7 lpa but now my role and construction industry is in cooled down state. New job opening are not promising. Packages offered are even below expectation and not competitive. And foreign MNC and Big Names are only hiring +1 degree holders. I am now totally stuck to my field. Tried switching by doing MBA but entrance exams hit hard no colleges are ready to give admission on profile. I don't know what to do. Going for full time would have been beneficial but now Age comes I am now close to 30 years. Please suggest what to do. Trying out courses on Data Analytics but still sceptical if this works out for my age and experience.

Same day joining an offer letter from two companies.

On Wednesday 27th November I gave an interview in two companies The 1st one is in real estate and the 2nd one is in the Share market. Both sides are sales roles. Real-estate company is very near my home around 20 min and the second one is Trade bulls company located in Karol bagh, delhi. I crack both interview salary packages also similar but Trade bulls is far for me. I decided to go with real-estate. After getting an offer letter from trade bulls before joining i refused to join the company. But I feel bad for the HR who helped me to complete all the procedures and also management will tell them about this case. Is this right, i do after getting a better opportunity in sales, real-estate industry. Please give me advice or suggestions if any.

I got laid off from my current dumb f company

Actually, I was working for a lame interior designing company by helping them for performance improvement. The database is poorly managed, and gathering data is totally unstructured whenever I mention things related to data that pulls my work process back to my manager he points out other people and say how they are working, but they are not even doing things as difficult as mine, and this head of planning is truly a 3rd rated unskilled boomer who shouts at me everytime when he doesn't get desired result which cannot be done with all limitations in tools, for eg he needs 1 year data the query involves 11 tables but it should run with 5 mins window and it will never happen, I can wake people who is really sleeping but I couldn't wake people who is acting like 😴 💤, I need your inputs here, how to handle people like this in future and what to do if the environment is too bad like this company.

Rejected a ₹36 LPA offer from FAANG to stay at my ₹16 LPA startup job.

Yesterday, I had to make one of the hardest decisions of my career. Microsoft offered to double my salary! But after a lot of soul-searching, I decided to stay at my startup. Hi All, I graduated with a B.E. in Computer Science in 2023 and since then worked in a startup from Jan 2023 to August 2023 as an Intern and later from September 2023 to August 2024 as an SDE. I left the startup because work culture had gotten way too toxic for me. Now After 3 months I have 3 offers, StarHealth - 12.5 LPA, Delhivery - 15 LPA, Cleartrip - 17 LPA + 10% Variable. Previous CTC was 10.2 LPA, I know Delhivery and Cleartrip has low balled me a lot, but I can't keep on being unemployed and am joining Cleartrip next week. I want to ask, should I keep applying more because I am fed up of applying day after again and again and focus on learning and build skills gradually or Keep on applying on the side (if this what should I say to the HR's of new companies why I am exploring even when you have just switched). Feeling stuck in my career

Background, I'm a full stack engineer, having a sound knowledge of frontend and backend technology and eager to solve new and challenging problems. But recently I've started feeling stuck in my career, so as a hobby I've started doing competitive programming, reading LLD and HLD books and started applying here and there. It's been 4+ months with no interview call at all. Any advice will be much appreciated. MBA vs Zomato's Chief of Staff Role?

As someone who was considering an MBA and was ready to invest 20 Lakhs into a good Bschool degree. After reading about Deepinder Goyal's offer, I must say that I am confused. See investment dono me hi hai, however MBA will take 2 years before giving me a good job, whereas in Zomato's offer I'll be earning within just a year. Plus the learnings will obviously be better in a direct job role with Zomato's CEO. However a good Bschool's degree will obviously give returns in the longer run. And yes, there's this fact as well, that you only do MBA once! So yeah, I'm pretty confused now. What say guys? What should I choose?
