My office doesn't provide PARKING SPACE!!
I joined this new workplace 6 months back and got a pretty good hike too. It's a young startup and my role is also very intresting.
Since the pay is high, hence I bought a new MG Hector last month and was planning to use it for my daily commute.
But to my surprise, I yesterday got to know that my office does not provides a parking space!
The building only has 6 spots, which are reserved for the CEO, MD, Sales director and other leaders, and rest all employees either dont bring a 4 wheeler or they manage parking on their own by parking at random nearby locations, which are not very safe.
I can't risk parking my new vehicle randomly and now I am so confused about where to park my vehicle!
Has anyone here faced a similar situation in their corporate journey so far?

Guys help, My company doesn't provides Health Insurance!!
I recently got dengue infection few weeks back, the case got so severe that I had to be admitted for 3 days.
Like every corporate employee, I also assumed that the expenses will be covered within my corporate insurance.
If not fully then atleast some part of it.
I returned to office yesterday and enquired the HR about the same.
And to my surprise, she told me that, they don't have any insurance policy for employeees!!!
Like, how is this even possible?
As far as I know, isn't it a gov mandate to provide insurance to employees?
I never checked about it while joining as I thought corporate insurance is a normal thing which every company provides.
What am I supposed to do now? Bear the whole cost myslef?
Anyone ever been in a similar situation?
Suggestions are appreciated!

I once used to be like this, but life taught me my lessons. Do you know someone who sounds similar (My boss🤫)
Imagine meeting someone who constantly blames their family, colleagues, and manager but does nothing about it. They don’t interview at other firms. They don’t have tough conversations with their family. They are always complaining about one thing or another.
Ranting is okay if done sometimes, but constant whining is irritating. Don’t be that person. Don’t victimize yourself. Own your life!

Dear SN Subrahmanyam, I SUPPORT YOU!
Infact I have a few tips to make employees work for 90 hours per week:
- Pay Fixed salary for 8 hours per day of work
- Then Pay them Hourly 1.5x wages after 8 hours for over time
- Pay a Full day salary for every working Sunday
- Arrange for Lunch on Sunday for employees.
- Travel arrangements for female employees who work till late night.
This way, we can make sure that employees are self motivated to work for extra hours and don't do it just under the pressure!
But demanding 90 hours and paying just for the standard 48 hours shows nothing but hypocrisy!
You get paid in crores, while they get their salaries in thousands.
You are motivated because of your exponential Financial growth and status.
So don't just "Regret" that you can't make your employees work on Sundays, instead start making arrangements to make your plan work.

Bhai Kunal, if you really think that these delivery partners are being exploited then why don't you start something of your own to provide employment to these people?
The fact is, even though delivery partners are working in harsh conditions or are even being underpaid at some extent, they are atleast getting some employment!
India is currently at a stage where unemployment is a huge issue and the youth is just sitting idle. So if someone is atleast generating employment for the youth, then lets appreciate them and not criticize them!

Property Prices in Gurgaon are crossing 100 Crores!!
And investing in them especially considering the poor air quality of the town this might sound stupid to middle class people like us but there’s a Rich people logic behind it.
So according to India's Income Tax Act, Section 54F States-
If you buy a house using your investment profits, then upto ₹10 crores of your tax is waived off.
And many startup founders and investors based in NCR use their investment profits for buying flats with white money.
Now DLF is one of the few real estate companies that accept the entire flat price in white money and recently DLF has launched a project in Gurgaon, Dahlias where the flats are being sold for ₹100 crores.
So all this facade for what afterall?
To save TAXES!
Also apart from this monetary gain, there's obviously status involved as well.
But on a side note, if you have ₹100 crores which city would you like to buy a property in?

Was scrolling through internet and found this post by Dr Manan Vora where he says according to a scientific research study which examined more than 13,000 employed men,
The added stress of working long hours can increase chances of losing hair.
Men in their 20s or 30s that worked at least 52 hours a week were most affected, being TWICE as likely to develop baldness than their colleagues who worked less.
Now I understand why Narayan Murthy sir and LnT Chairman are both bald😂

AI Is Focusing on the Wrong Stuff!
Okay, hear me out. AI is cool and all, but I can’t help feeling like it’s being used for all the wrong things. It’s out here taking jobs and replacing people at work when, honestly, it should be doing the boring day-to-day stuff like washing dishes, cleaning, laundry… you know, the stuff we actually hate doing.
Why can’t AI just make life easier outside of work instead of taking over what we do at work? Like, imagine coming home and all your chores are magically done because some fancy AI gadget handled it. Meanwhile, we get to keep our jobs, do what we’re passionate about, and focus on real work instead of stressing over job security.
Feels like they missed the memo on this one, right? Or is it just me?

We salaried people should get special treatment for paying the highest taxes!!!
Salaried classes can't escape taxes.
But would be nice to get something in return.
Special train coaches.
Exemption at toll booths.
Reserved seats at colleges.
Special wards at gov hospitals.
Special time slots at gov offices.
Only and only for those paying income tax.
If we are giving away half of our hard earned money, it's only right to be treated a bit more fairly.

Next Day,
Employee: Good morning sir, can you please give me tasks for today.
Manager : HR se baat krlo ek baar jaake.

And ladies and gentlemen, that's how corporate works!!
This is the story of my friend who is working in a Private software company in Gurgaon.

Tax Terrorism in India!
In India , on an income of 1cr
- A corporate employee will pay 35L tax.
- The corporate organization will pay 5L tax by showing various deduction & low rates.
-A farmer will pay zero tax officially.
-A street vendor will pay zero tax.
-A shopkeeper will pay zero tax by showing salaries to family & expenses.
-Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will pay 0 TAX.
Such is the state of taxation in our country .It is fair to say that salaried class is being badly abused by the govt.

Where do we middle class corporate people go?
- Ola/Uber: Charges ₹300 for a 5 km ride. Saying,
"Empathize with our drivers, they work very hard in extreme weather conditions"
- Swiggy/Zomato : Charges ₹50 as a platform fee and ₹50 as delivery fee on a ₹250 order. Saying,
"Empathize with our riders, they work day and night to provide us food on time"
- Government: Charges ₹110 per litre for petrol. Saying,
"The economy isn’t doing well, we cannot do anything in this"
- Companies: Provides no salary hikes/apprasial. Saying,
"We are going through a tough phase, be grateful that we didn't lay you off"
Meanwhile, us the middle class corporate workers,
Leave our hometowns, family and comfort to come live in these polluted cities, pay hefty rents, work overtime, and sacrifice our mental health just so that we could be a good son/daughter for our family and do good in our careers!
