And according to calc. For my worst case it will to took me 3yrs after grad to clear GATE

HR asked me to resign with just 10 days of notice period
Hi I'm a commerce graduate, got into IT via a data science course. I'm on a third party payroll working for a bank as a data quality engineer and my package was 3.8lpa fixed+variable. Recently as the financial year is coming to an end, my HR asked me to resign stating me to be incompetent and that the project was revoked from them. Did my research with the bank who I was working with and found that they are re-structuring and doing everything in house. My hr said no variable bonus will be paid as I've just completed 8 months and I needed to complete 1yr. How should I deal with this situation? Also I'm struggling to find a new job.... Any advise? Or openings?

Is MSDSM IIM Indore worth it?
I am currently working as a Senior Software Engineer in Platform team at a product based b2b company. This is my first company, I joined here as a campus hire. I will complete 4yrs here in June 2025. I gave CAT in 2024, and I have received a mail from IIM indore saying I am shortlisted for MSDSM based on my CAT percentile.
This is a 2 yrs online program (fees 14 lakhs) for working professionals, and offers a regular MS degree.
Currently I am earning 11 LPA.

Current Position:
CTC: ₹11.3 LPA (₹8.9 LPA fixed + ₹2.4 LPA variable). Current location is far from my hometown.

Struggling to Land ML/DS Roles as an Undergraduate
I’ve been working in Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning for about a year now. I’ve completed the fundamental math and statistics prerequisites, but I’m still not getting hired for ML or Data Science roles- even though I often make it to the technical interview stage.
Being a UG student, I feel that candidates with PG degrees have a clearer advantage. What can I do or learn to stand out and successfully land an ML or Data Science position?

Do I really need to go in Depth into ML?
I have executed/delivered previous ML/DS projects using the code generated by LLMs, my own project schema and debugging skills. But right now Vibe Coding is taking over the market, in which- what or how you coded doesn't matter. The only concerns are- whether you could deliver and how fast you could deliver!
So besides the knowledge of the fundamentals and debugging skills, do I really need to go in-depth into the field of ML/DS techniques? (Considering the fact that I am not aiming for R&D)

I am currently working as a business analyst in the modest category of a fashion apparel brand. However, I've come to realize that my role feels more like a support position, similar to seller support or a product listing executive, rather than a true business analyst role. I’m not involved in any technical aspects such as SQL, Tableau, or advanced Excel. Additionally, I feel there is limited growth potential for e-commerce business analysts in my company.
The company operates as an advanced dropshipping business in the fashion sector, but the model is quite straightforward. We have to spend a significant amount on ads—often several lakhs per day—to drive sales. Given this situation, I'm wondering if my concerns are valid or if I'm seeing things incorrectly

Simultaneously, I am also doing projects that help me understand the concepts and tools better. As I am near to complete my course, I want to have a professional experience whether it be through freelancing or by internships or apprenticeship.

I was working in WNS Analytics in a Data Engineering support role as Data Operations team. This was my First Company got introduced to
- Azure Tech Stack i.e. Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Datalake Storage etc along with
- Big Data ETL tools based on Apache Hadoop HDFS, Apache NiFi and Apache Airflow and some others trendy tools i.e. MongoDB, Snowflake etc.
Now the company I'm interviewing with (InnovAccer) has different Tech Stack including PostgreSQL, AWS, Python, Snowflake and a in-house ETL tool. Which is good too no doubt.
But I invested time upskillig for DP-203 Azure Data Engineering after resigning from WNS (Microsoft has launched Fabric instead and announced retirement of Dp203).
Now the question is would I keep working on Azure Stack learning journey and wait for only relevant roles OR go with the flow with the new role offered (it is also a support role in Data Ops)

I would like to know if this is a good choice or if there are better options available in India. The fee structure is ₹60,000 per semester and four semesters.
