Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - interview was a technical one but was majorly a stress test. It lasted for about 1 hour 10 minutes. The interviewer wanted to test both my knowledge and communication skills. Most of the questions asked to me were related to my B.Tech curriculum i.e. computer science related topics. He stressed a lot on the basics related to my project topic. Luckily I was able to answer most of the questions correctly. I tried to answer each question with examples and also used props on the table (like pens, paperweights, pen stands etc.) to explain my theories. It was my first offcampus interview, and I think I did pretty well for a fresher. You need to stay calm and should apply presence of mind. Please go through the job description thoroughly word-by-word and recheck your resume to ensure that you are a best-fit for the position.
Round: Test Experience: Aptitude was easy. Technical questions were based on knowledge you have. Also there were some numericals. They just check your technical aptitude. Psychometric, I felt was very important as company focuses very much on HR part. Just be what you are while answering psychometric part Duration: 1 hour 20 minutes
Round: Group Discussion Experience: We were given 2 minutes to think on the topic, and to note down the points. Our GD was standard and very formal, initialisation followed by healthy discussion then the conclusion. Tips: Don't be aggressive the HR won't like it at all. Our GD was very formal as compare to other group hence the candidates shortlisted were highest from our group. If possible for you show some leadership skills Duration: 15 minutes
Round: Technical + HR Interview Experience: HR part was greatly focused on. Interview was very formal. They made me feel very comfortable just don't panic Tips: I thought GD was very important round. Give your best in GD. BE POLITE in GD, consider your half work done.
