Aptitude Test Round
First round consisted of aptitude and technical multiple choice questions. Numerical questions were there in both tech and aptitude. General mechanical engineering topics were covered in technical section, different candidates had different questions from various topics. Criteria for passing the exam wasn't mentioned, but I think it would be better to maintain good percentage of correct answering other than attending all by guessing.
For all the Engineering branches the process was almost like this.

- Q1. 2nd round was online interview which consisted of both technical and HR questions. After self introduction they asked some random questions from mechanical engi...read more
- Q2. Questions about final year project/ previous internships They may or may not ask for your favourite subject and ask questions from it.
- Q3. What is valves and name any one or two.
- Q4. Finally there was an extempore round in which you have to speak about a topic given by them for 1-2 minutes.

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Have a look at the basic mechanical engineering concepts for technical round.
Prepare for the extempore round which is where I actually failed, I would recomend to make sections of the given topic and explain about each to tick time away.
The interview call mail consisted of the schedule of all the candidates that day, try contacting those who are scheduled before you and have an idea about the process and questions.
I applied for the L&T all India drive in like July 2022 and the interview was in August, it's a one month long process, so check on YouTube on those days you may find other candidates experience somehow.
I hope this will happen next year as well in 2023, be sure check their website from next June, it's a great opportunity and all the best.
