One must not appoint Apprentice Trainees above 15% of the Total strength of the company employees including direct contract employees (Contract employees appointed through labour contractor must not be considered here. This 15% includes the Apprentice Trainees appointed through third party Aggregators also. If anyone appoints Apprentice trainees above 15%, it is a clear violation of APPRENTICES ACT and other labour laws and is a punishable offence. if company or third party aggregator avails any financial benefit from Central government by appointing more number Apprentice trainees , it will be considered as finanancial fraud by the company.
