QA engineer - Cypress

Quality Assurance Engineer: 

Job title description:

         being an active Scrum team member taking care of the quality of delivered IT solutions.

         reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.

         creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

         estimating, prioritizing, and planning test activities

         designing and execute and document manual tests (on GUI and API levels)

         identifying, recording, and tracking defects

         defining and performing regression tests

         tracking quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts

         staying up to date with new testing tools and test strategies and continuously improving the test process in assigned project.

Requirements:

Skills and experience you will need.

         good communication skills in English

         min. 2-3 years of experience as a QA Engineer

         hands-on experience with test automation in Cypress

         knowledge about TypeScript/JavaScript and Cypress

         hands-on experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases with the usage of test design techniques.

         hands-on experience with API testing, i.e., REST, XML, Microservices, etc.

         knowledge about tools supporting test activities (browser developer console, Postman, or other tools for API verification)

         experience in software development in the Agile/Scrum process

         experience with Jira or any other SDLC management supporting tool.

Nice to have :

         experience with Jenkins or another CI/CD tool

         basic database knowledge

         Knowledge about Cucumber
