Process Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Develop, configure and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification

• Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data

• Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes

• Developing best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates, quality of output and product reliability

• Evaluating existing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and minimize operational costs

• Conduct regular assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and address any bottlenecks in the production process

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and performance metrics

• Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to drive innovation and competitiveness

• Training and mentoring junior engineers and production staff.

• Conduct process development experiments to scale in a laboratory

• Arrange and conduct trials at vendors shop for operations like filtration, extraction depending on the process requirement.

• Collecting data required to make improvements and/or modifications

• Arrange and conduct Process HAZOP and Risk Assessment

Preferred candidate profile

• Having 2~12 years years in leading process engineering initiatives of large scale complex in Petrochemical, Refinery, Oil & Gas.

• Extensive knowledge of plant operations and process optimization, Plant Turnaround, Planning, Troubleshooting and Team Management.

• Should have experience in handling day-to-day multi plant operation/process and trouble-shooting, Industrial Safety , Safe work permit.

• Should have deep understanding of a Petrochemical complex.

• Familiarization with various statutory and Environmental norms.

• Proficiency in process simulation software
