Construction Project Quality Lead (Mixed Used Assest Projects)

A competent Team Handling, Graduate Civil Engineer with 12 + yrs of experience in Commercial, Hotel, Mall construction with Real Estate or Construction background with knowledge of QMS, IS codes, Inspection & Test Procedures. To lead and guide all direct reports and team members providing coaching and mentoring to all direct reports. Responsible for the development and execution of the strategy and plan for the Quality Operations function. Responsible for providing direction to the functional area to ensure high-quality, safe and effective products and/or services compliant with regulatory expectations.

Job Description:

- To carry out a detailed study of the project w.r.t. the quality aspects.

- Prepare checklists for various items to be executed.

- Regular quality check of the material received at the site by prescribed methods.

- Check the workmanship of all the items at every stage of the work.

- Check the safety precautions used at the site.

- Quality audit of the buildings those are complete and ready for possession and certifying it.

- Find solutions to practical problems faced during the execution of work for maintaining optimum

quality.

- Collect various suggestions from Site Engineers analyze them and decide on the best alternative

solutions, set up new quality control methods after discussion with the top management.

- Benchmarking and documenting the procedures and processes of Quality Control.

- Responsible for Quality Planning, Assurance, Control and Quality Improvement.

- Preparation and Implementation of system documents through internal and external audits at

project sites.

- Preparing segment quality plan, inspection& Test plans and getting the same approved by the

Clients.

- Source Identification, Selection, Testing& obtaining necessary approvals from Client /Consultants for

various incorporated Materials.

- Co-coordinating with stores team to plan inspection& testing of raw materials Interacts with client /

consultants regarding material selection / testing and approval.

- Prepares project handing over document related with Quality as per established System to Quality

Management.

- Performing research at site to improve the quality and develop new materials if required.

-Finalizing the quality specifications of materials well in advance before the procurement orders.

- Reporting to the Management regarding QA performance.

- Represent the Quality Operations organization to external stakeholders, including regulatory

agencies and customer audits.

Experience :

Minimum 12 to 15 years experience in Real Estate specially for Commercial, Hotel and Mall construction organizations with at least 3 years of managerial experience in handling multiple teams in quality function.

Qualifications:

A university degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Proficiency in using computer applications and software for quality control management.

Excellent communication skills for coordination and reporting.

Registration or certification in quality management systems, such as ISO 9001:2008 or equivalent.
