Chartered Accountant - Indirect Taxation

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide end-to-end compliance and advisory services related to Goods and Services Tax (GST), Customs, and other applicable indirect taxes.

- Review and manage GST returns, reconciliations, and filings for clients across sectors.

- Handle client queries related to indirect tax issues, notices, assessments, and audits.

- Conduct tax impact analyses and assist in business restructuring from an indirect tax perspective.

- Interpret and apply indirect tax legislation and case laws relevant to client needs.

- Coordinate and liaise with tax authorities for client representations, clarifications, or dispute resolutions.

- Provide guidance to junior team members, review their work, and ensure delivery quality.

- Prepare and deliver client presentations and training sessions when required.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1-4 years of relevant post-qualification experience.

- Strong knowledge of Indian Indirect Tax laws, especially GST.

- Prior experience working in consulting firms or tax advisory firms is highly preferred.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong working knowledge of Excel, tax tools, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.

- Consultancy Background is preferable

- Core work profile of Indirect Taxation, able to guide team members (if required) & clients.
