SAP BW/HANA Consultant - E2E Implementation (3-8 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced SAP BW on HANA Consultant to join our team and support the design, development, and implementation of SAP Business Warehouse solutions powered by HANA.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP BW, strong HANA modeling skills, and experience integrating data from multiple sources to drive business insights.

Key Responsibilities.

- Design, develop, and maintain data models in SAP BW on HANA (InfoObjects, ADSOs, CompositeProviders, Open ODS Views).

- Create and manage data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from SAP and non-SAP sources using DataSources and Data Transfer Processes (DTPs).

- Develop HANA views (Calculation Views) for performance-optimized reporting.

- Optimize existing data models for better performance on HANA.

- Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Build and maintain BEx queries, and support integration with SAP Analytics tools (e.g., SAC, Lumira).

- Participate in system upgrades, migrations (e.g., to BW/4HANA), and performance tuning activities.

- Document technical designs, data flows, and processes.

Required Skills & Experience.

- 3 8 years of experience in SAP BW on HANA.

- Strong hands-on experience with HANA modeling (attribute views, analytical views, calculation views).

- Experience in BW/4 HANA.

- Hybrid modelling experience using HANA calculation views and BW application layer.

- Knowledge on SQL scripting.

- Experience in SAP Datasphere.

- Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, star schema, and data provisioning.

- Experience with ABAP routines, start/end routines, and user exits.

- Familiarity with SLT, BODS, or SDA/SDI for data integration.

- Knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA and migration projects is a plus.

- Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP BW or BW/4HANA certification.

- Familiarity with S/4HANA embedded analytics.
