Job Description
Position: Chief Finance Officer
Department: Accounts & Finance.
Qualification: CA
Experience: 10-18 years of experience in Food Industry / FMCG/Manufacturing Industry.
Preferred Candidate should have Work Experience in Area of Mill Operations / Manufacturing Operations.
Direct Reports: 5-7 Members.
Location: Delhi.
Age: 34-40 years
Candidate Preference: Male/ Female
Role Summary- This person will be heading Accounts, Finance, Statutory & Treasury functions. The role entails overseeing and finalizing financial statements, monitoring budgets, Coordination of Funds and overseeing mill operations along with CEO for profitability. It includes managing statutory compliance, coordinating audits, leading a finance team, and assisting the CEO with financial performance and reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
General Accounting:
- Responsible for overview & finalization of monthly, periodical & annual financials of the organization.
- Monitoring of Budget of the Organisation.
- Analysing cost of product & Optimising profitability of the organisation.
- Overview of manufacturing purchase accounts & stock valuation.
- Being a first point of contact for periodic audits including - calendar year audits, financials, stat audits & internal audits.
- Planning, monitoring, verifying, and approving monthly staff salaries, annually indirect/ direct taxes, and other statutory compliances.
- Bankers' coordination.
Statutory Compliance and Risk Management
- Planning, Verifying, Monitoring & approving all the compliances related to income tax, including TDS, GST, LC, advance tax, final tax, filling of IT returns, transfer pricing and deferred tax.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies; identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Co-ordinating with consultants and monitoring the ongoing income tax cases providing related data and interpretation for the cases.
- Planning, verifying and approving ROC/MCA filling, FEMA, dealing with Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) within the Ministry of Commerce and Industry primarily oversees FDI regulations.
- Monitoring list of all other statutory compliances applicable to organization and ensuring the compliances including PF, ESI, POSH, CSR, FSSAI, RBI, Star export house statistics, Factories Act and likewise.
Banks, Treasury and Forex Management
- Dealing with Banks / Financial Institutions and NBFCs.
- Fund Management, Treasury, arrangement of finances.
- Forex Management.
Strategic Role & Analytics
- Team management (Ensuring they fulfil their KRAs & groom them for next level)
- Identify opportunities for enhancing financial processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Board meetings and presentations- planning, monitoring & preparation
- Assist the CEO in monitoring financial performance, preparing budgets, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Coordinating with other Team members and ensuring all compliances done as per the Indian Laws.
