Power BI Developer - Reporting & Analytics (7-9 yrs)

Senior Power BI developer with Power Platform knowledge We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer with min 7+ years of hands-on experience in developing Power BI projects.

Job Description :

- The Power BI Developer will be responsible for deliverables related to operational analytics, reporting, and distribution, including data analysis, modeling, and reporting.

- Consumers of these analyses will include executive, management, and operational leadership teams.

- The role requires proficiency in Power BI for data discovery, analytics, modeling, and visualization across large datasets.

- The ideal candidate will be comfortable with statistical inference, dashboard development, and SQL.

- Additionally, they should be adept at using key external tools to optimize Power BI performance and management.

Required Skills :

- Primary Skillset : Power BI, DAX, and SQL.

- Handling Client by giving solutions and be a part of pre-sales activities.

- Secondary Skillset : Experience working with other BI tools and Power Platform components like Power Automate, Power Apps etc.

Experience :

- Min 7 years of experience in Power BI or any other analytics development.

- Min 4 years of experience in PowerBI development

- Strong knowledge of Power BI solutions

Primary Technical skill set :

- Develop and enhance Power BI reports and dashboards.

- Proficient in data modelling in Power BI, including M-Query and DAX

- Experienced in advanced Power BI features like RLS, incremental data load, performance tuning, dataflow, Power BI REST Api etc.

- Should have good exposure working with diverse set of visuals and various data sources like SQL Server, big Query etc.

- Develop or create custom connectors if necessary.

- Extensive experience in SQL, Strong proficiency in Power Query for data transformation.

- Experience in SSRS reporting and writing complex DAX queries.

- Optimize DAX queries and model performance.

- Support data transformation and cleansing.

- Proven experience in migrating reports from other BI platforms to Power BI, including knowledge of different migration tools and techniques.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

- Experience with data governance and compliance requirements.

- Familiarity with Power BI administration and workspace management.

- Proven experience in integrating Power BI with Power Apps solutions.

Good to have Technical skill set :

- Design, develop, and deploy business applications using Power Apps.

- Integrate Power Apps with data sources such as SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL Server, and more.

- Create and implement automated workflows using Power Automate to enhance efficiency.

- Manage and monitor the performance of automated processes.

- Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure high performance and reliability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
