Role Overview

We're seeking a seasoned and dynamic Retail Store Director / Store Manager to lead a flagship luxury store in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen with an eye for aesthetics, delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving consistent growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Sales & Growth: Develop and execute strategies to exceed sales targets and grow revenue.

- Store Operations: Oversee day-to-day store functioning including visual merchandising, inventory control, and service excellence.

- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and lead a motivated sales team focused on performance and brand experience.

- Inventory & Merchandising: Manage merchandise mix, inventory levels, and align product presentation with luxury standards.

- Client Experience: Foster deep customer engagement and liaise with architects and interior designers to drive business.

- Financial Oversight: Manage store budgets, P&L, and optimize costs for profitability.

- Marketing Support: Coordinate in-store promotions and local marketing campaigns to increase visibility and foot traffic.

- Compliance: Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and operational protocols.

What You Bring

- 8+ years in retail leadership, preferably in luxury or high-end segments (furniture, fashion, lifestyle).

- Proven track record of business development and team performance.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Hands-on experience in merchandising, inventory planning, and customer service excellence.

- Aesthetic sensibility and a genuine interest in interior design and dcor.

Qualifications

- Degree in Business, Retail Management, or a relevant field.

- Certifications in luxury retail or store management are an advantage.

- Familiarity with POS systems and retail tech tools.
