Manager - Internal Audit - FMCG - CA (7-11 yrs)

Our client is a leading FMCG multinational looking to hire their Internal Audit Manager to be based in Dubai.

We are seeking an experienced Auditor to join the Internal Audit team and assist in setting up the Global Internal Audit function. The role requires the incumbent to shadow the internal audit

Head to set up processes and the IA function from scratch. The incumbent will be required to manage internal audit for our client's 15+ entities globally.

The role would be based in Dubai and would require extensive travel to our locations of operations across countries.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Planning and Execution:

- Design and implement audit programs to evaluate financial and operational controls.

- Ensure audits are conducted across all global entities in accordance with professional standards and within timeframes.

- Perform risk assessments to identify areas of potential risk and opportunities for improvement.

- Provide guidance and advice to management on risk management practices.

- Identify emerging risks and ensure they are adequately addressed in the audit plan.

- Assess the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.

- Identify weaknesses and recommend improvements to enhance internal control systems.

Compliance and Governance:

- Ensure the organization complies with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.

- Support the development and implementation of internal control frameworks.

- Promote a strong ethical culture within the organization.

Must Have:

- Chartered Accountant with 7-11+ years of audit experience within a large corporate environment.

- Must have FMCG experience.

- Exposure to audit of entities in multiple countries.

- Demonstrated experience in leading multi-cultural cross border internal audit teams.

- Strong understanding of auditing standards and procedures.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
