Roles & Responsibilities

PMO Establishment and Governance

• Develop and implement project management standards and best practices.
• Establish guidelines, policies, and performance metrics for project governance.
• Align project goals with strategic objectives through collaboration with stakeholders.

Project Portfolio Management

• Oversee and manage the project portfolio for alignment with company goals.
• Regularly review and report on project progress, addressing risks and performance metrics.
• Conduct project portfolio assessments to evaluate ROI and organizational impact.

Resource Management

• Optimize resource allocation across projects.
• Collaborate with department heads for resource forecasting and availability.
• Lead resource planning, scheduling, and capacity management processes.

Risk Management and Issue Resolution

• Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate timely resolution of project issues with cross-functional teams.
• Track and analyze risks and issues to create preventive measures.

Stakeholder Communication and Reporting

• Provide regular updates to senior management on project performance.
• Foster transparent communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Create executive-level reports and dashboards for key project metrics.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for process improvement in project management.
• Lead change management efforts to enhance project management maturity.
• Conduct training and workshops to upskill team members.

Technical Competency:

• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, JIRA).
• In-depth understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Strong analytical skills for tracking progress and creating performance dashboards.
• Skilled in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning.
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial tracking related to project management.
