Job Title: Deputy General Manager (DGM) - Accounts

Education: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience. At least 3 years of experience in listed entities is mandatory.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy General Manager - Accounts to oversee and manage the accounting operations, financial reporting, and consolidation activities of the organization. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical accounting knowledge, experience working in listed companies, and the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting and Reconciliation: Monitor day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring timely and accurate updating of books. Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure alignment between bank statements and ledger accounts.

2. MIS and Financial Reporting: Prepare periodic Management Information System (MIS) reports and share insights with the management team. Assist in financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

3. Consolidation and Financial Statements: Lead the consolidation of accounts across entities. Prepare and finalize financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

4. Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and accurate flow of financial information. Provide financial expertise and guidance to internal stakeholders as needed.

Skills & Competencies:

1. Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS) and regulatory compliance requirements for listed companies.

2. Expertise in financial consolidation, MIS reporting, and bank reconciliations.

3. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

4. Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office (especially Excel).
