Legal Officer - IT Services

Aspire Systems is currently on the look-out for candidates with expertise in Legal activities to join our Corporate Legal team.

Work Location: Chennai (Siruseri - SIPCOT IT Park)

Qualification: LLB/LLM or any equivalent degree related to Law

Required Experience : 6 to 8 Years

Key Responsibilities:

1. Contract Review & Analysis: Review and analyze first-level contractual documents, including Master Service Agreements (MSA), Statements of Work (SOW), Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), and Change Orders (CO).
   
2. Contract Drafting & Collaboration: Provide support in drafting and reviewing customer and vendor contracts, working closely with senior managers.
   
3. Risk Analysis & Compliance: Assist in conducting risk analysis of contractual terms to ensure effective risk management and compliance.
   
4. Contract Management & Delivery: Ensure adherence to contract management processes and ensure timely delivery of documents and deliverables.
   
5. Internal & External Compliance: Work with the legal team to maintain compliance with both internal policies and external regulations.
   
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve contract-related issues and support business goals.
   
7. Adaptability & Multi-tasking: Adapt quickly to team dynamics and support tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, including collaboration across different time zones.
   
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Tools: Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for drafting, organizing, and presenting legal documents and reports effectively.

Key Requirements:

1. In-House Legal Experience: Previous experience in an in-house legal department or similar role is preferred.
   
2. Contract Management & Compliance: Proficiency in managing contracts and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
   
3. Attention to Detail & Communication: Strong attention to detail, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
   
4. Multitasking & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
