AU Small Finance Bank - Actuarial Analyst - Motor Pricing (4-7 yrs)

Actuarial Analyst - Motor Pricing:

- In this role, work with Head of Product to in all aspects of motor insurance pricing with all our general Insurance partner under various vehicle category and geography. The candidate must have exposure to both the Underwriting and Actuarial leadership teams through individual account pricing, quarterly business review meetings and annual business planning. Additionally, you will have further exposure to Reserving and Claims teams as you work with them in planning and various other projects and analyses to support Pricing efforts.

- This role must throw out the rule book to price innovative insurance products (e.g pay-as-you-go Motor), determining the launch prices and strategy for new products for AUBANK customer with current and new Insurance Partner.

Product & Pricing related responsibility:

- Develop and enhance pricing models for motor insurance products, ensuring they align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

- Analyze data and trends to optimize pricing structures and improve underwriting profitability.

- Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and finance teams to assess and mitigate risks effectively.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and monitor key metrics to evaluate pricing effectiveness.

- Stay updated with market trends, competitor analysis, and regulatory changes impacting motor insurance.

- Drive appropriate consistency in pricing and portfolio analysis across vehicle category.

- Work with the insurance partner pricing team to complete tasks and assist product development and Tech development team members.

- Ensure AUBANK as leader in the field of Motor Insurance technical pricing and portfolio management.

Qualifications:

- Academic Background in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science

- Minimum 7 actuarial exams and continuing to write in the future.

- Part-qualified actuary with minimum 3 years' experience in motor pricing within the P&C actuarial domain - reserving/pricing/risk management/capital modelling

- Strong IT skills - Do you have experience in SQL, Excel and VBA , R & Python ,Power BI is an advantage
