Designing and implementing database solutions to support the needs of various applications and systems

Writing SQL code to access and manipulate data stored in databases, and optimizing database performance

Designing and implementing data storage solutions, including the creation of database tables, views, and stored procedures

Collaborating with application developers to integrate database solutions into their applications, and ensuring that data is securely stored and accessible

Maintaining database security, including implementing and enforcing user access controls and data privacy regulations

Monitoring database performance, and tuning databases as necessary to ensure high availability and optimal performance

Troubleshooting database issues, including database connectivity problems, performance issues, and data integrity problems

Developing and implementing disaster recovery plans to ensure the continuity of database operations in the event of a disaster

Strong problem-solving skills

Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team of developers and stakeholders
