SAP FICO Consultant - Implementation & Support (5-10 yrs)

Job Description :

As an SAP Finance Control Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of SAP Finance and Controlling modules within our organization.

You will leverage your expertise to manage projects, oversee team activities, and provide functional guidance to ensure the accurate and efficient operation of our financial systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage SAP Finance and Controlling projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.

- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.

- Track project progress and identify potential risks or issues.

- Lead and mentor a team of SAP functional consultants.

- Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure their professional development.

- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and expertise.

- Track FI and ABAP-related objects to ensure project progress and identify dependencies.

- Prepare status reports on the overall project, including key milestones and deliverables.

- Have at least 2 end-to-end SAP implementations in the FICO module.

- Lead and participate in workshops, design sessions, and configuration activities.

- Ensure that SAP Finance and Controlling solutions align with business requirements.

- Have experience with at least 1 GST implementation and ongoing support.

- Understand the complexities of GST regulations and their impact on financial processes.

- Configure SAP to comply with GST requirements.

- Possess a strong understanding of FI modules, including AR, AP, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliation.

- Have a good knowledge of integrating SAP Finance with other modules such as SD, MM, and PP.

- Be proficient in Withholding Tax and Month-end activities.

- Understand Controlling concepts, including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.

- Provide ongoing support for SAP Finance and Controlling modules, including troubleshooting issues and resolving user queries.

- Assist in monthly and yearly closing of accounts.

- Have experience in implementing and supporting the Controlling module, specifically Product Costing, Account-based and Costing-based COPA.

- Prepare detailed functional specifications for application development objects (interfaces, conversions, enhancements, reports, and forms).

- Guide the development team in creating these programs.

- Have experience in manufacturing or service industries to understand specific business requirements and challenges.

Qualifications :

- 5-10 years of experience in SAP Finance and Controlling.

- Proven track record in project management and team leadership.

- Strong functional knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules.

- Experience with GST implementation and support.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
