Functional Consultant - SAP TM Module (8-9 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Provide expert functional consulting services for the SAP TM module, including configuration, customization, and integration.

- Lead or participate in full lifecycle SAP TM implementation projects, from requirements gathering to go-live and post-go-live support.

- Configure and customize SAP TM to meet specific client requirements, ensuring alignment with best practices and business objectives.

- Conduct thorough testing and validation of SAP TM configurations and customizations.

- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP TM systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.

- Analyze and resolve complex tickets received from clients, ensuring timely and effective solutions.

- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues.

- Document solutions and knowledge base articles to facilitate knowledge sharing and improve support efficiency.

- Maintain a strong focus on client satisfaction and service level agreements (SLAs).

- Prepare, propose, and implement new solutions to meet evolving business needs.

- Conduct business process analysis and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

- Develop detailed solution designs, including functional specifications, configuration documentation, and test plans.

- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP TM with other systems.

- Create essential project documentation, including solution designs, business process documentation, functional specifications, and developer specifications.

- Maintain regular communication and collaboration with clients, providing updates on project status and issue resolution.

- Conduct workshops and training sessions for clients and internal teams.

- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing exceptional service.

- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on SAP TM best practices and solutions.

- Proactively identify and address potential issues and risks.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP TM functional consulting.

- Deep understanding of SAP TM functionality, including planning, execution, freight settlement, and reporting.

- Proven experience in supporting clients in the SAP TM domain or participation in SAP TM implementation projects.

- Strong knowledge of transportation management processes and best practices.

- Experience with SAP integration technologies (e.g., IDocs, APIs).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -

- Experience with S/4HANA TM is highly desirable.

- Experience with freight tendering and carrier integration.

- Experience with transportation network design and optimization.

- Experience with the configuration of condition technique within TM.

- Experience with TM master data.

- Experience with TM reporting.

- Experience with TM collaboration portals.

Desired Skills and Qualifications :

- SAP TM certification.

- Experience with Agile methodologies.

- Experience with international clients.

- Cross module knowledge of other SAP modules such as SD, MM, and LE.

- Knowledge of ABAP debugging.
