Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven B2G Sales professional to lead our sales initiatives within the government sector. This role will focus on building strong relationships with government clients, understanding their IT needs, and driving the sales of our comprehensive range of IT services.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate government markets and achieve revenue targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies and key decision-makers.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape within the public sector.
  • Proposal Development: Lead the development of compelling proposals and presentations that address client requirements and demonstrate our value proposition.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and project management, to ensure alignment and successful delivery of services.
  • Sales Forecasting: Prepare and manage accurate sales forecasts, reporting on sales performance, pipeline status, and market opportunities.
  • Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our services and generate leads.
  • Compliance and Regulations: Stay updated on government procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure successful contract negotiations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • 12+ years of sales experience in the IT services sector, with a proven track record in B2G sales (India)
  • Strong understanding of government procurement processes and experience selling to public sector clients.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
