QA Experienced Associate is responsible for analyzing software requirements, creating test plans, developing, and executing test cases both manually and using automated tools, to identify defects and ensure the software meets the requirements.
Job Duties

Executing test cases, both manually and using automated tools, to identify defects and ensure the software meets the requirements.
Responsible for documenting and reporting defects and tracking their resolution.
Work closely with project managers, software engineers and other stakeholders to ensure the software meets the desired quality standards.
Builds and maintains policy and standardization for the team.
Specializes in testing the functionality of software applications to ensure they meet the specified requirements.
Benchmarks a variety of internally developed and third-party integrated systems for performance under heavy loads.
Builds and maintains a variety of internally developed and third-party integrated systems documentation.
Clarifies design requirements from the firm s business owners.
Educates Application Support Services professionals on responsibilities and provides guidance regarding effective resolution of issues related to QA framework.
Facilitates meetings to discuss project requirement meetings, as needed.
Coach junior developers on best practices and steps for developing sound coding decisions on scripting and QA standards.
Should take initiative as the QA technical lead on larger IT projects.
Serves as the Secondary Support person for after-hours support (if required)
Escalates critical issues to management for timely resolution.
Coordinates and organizes efforts and follow-up from items stemming out of team meetings.
Provides support for specific applications on rotation basis.
Other duties as required.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education:
Bachelors or Master s degree in computer science, Information Systems or equivalent field required
Experience:
Four (4) or more years of experience in performing functional, regression, performance, and load testing on web applications built utilizing C#, ASP.NET, Angular with design patterns of MVC and/or MVVM, required.
Four (3) or more years of experience in automation testing. Hands-on experience in Azure DevOps, Visual Studio Code, Thunder Client Add-In for VSC, Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, Developer Console in Chromium based web browsers, SnagIt, JMeter, Azure Load Test Platform.
Two (2) or more years of demonstrated knowledge and experience in testing, validating REST Web APIs using any API validating tools like
Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, Apache JMeter required.
Working experience with test planning, test case and test script creation, test execution and test defect reporting required.
Working experience in JSON, Apache Groovy (used with JMeter) is needed.
Advanced experience with software development methodologies, preferred.
Experience in other test scripting languages, preferred.
Experience using Selenium or Cypress preferred.
Familiarity with various testing tools and techniques
Familiarity with general QA processes and testing Procedures, documentation skills.
Knowledge of software development methodologies and processes.
License/Certifications:
Certifications in ISTQB preferred.
