Job Description

  • The MICE Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales and revenue within the MICE (Meetings,Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) segment of the travel industry
  • Thisrole involves identifying and targeting potential clients, understanding theirevent requirements, proposing tailored solutions, and effectively managing thesales process to achieve set targets and contribute to the overall growth ofthe organisation
Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and identify potential clients within the corporate sector whoare interested in hosting MICE events.
  • Cold calling, networking, and attending industry events to establishrelationships and generate leads.
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their specific eventrequirements, objectives, and budget constraints.
  • Ableto Identify sales opportunities through networking, relationship-building, andconducting outdoor activities
  • Propose suitable MICE packages and solutions that align with clientneeds and objectives.
  • must have Events, Venue and Sponsorship Sales experience.
  • Create compelling and customized proposals that outline the eventdetails, including venues, accommodations, catering, transportation, andadditional services.
  • Deliver persuasive presentations to clients, addressing their queriesand concerns.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing to ensure a win-win situation for both theclient and the organization.
  • Prepare contracts and agreements, ensuring all terms are accuratelydocumented.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understandingtheir evolving needs and preferences.
  • Act as a point of contact throughout the planning and execution phasesof the event.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as operations, logistics, and eventplanning to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to create promotional materials andcampaigns for MICE services.
  • Set and meet sales targets and revenue goals as outlined by theorganization.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, clientinteractions, and progress.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and marketdynamics to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Conduct post-event follow-ups to gather feedback from clients andidentify areas for improvement.
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field(preferred).
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the travel or hospitalityindustry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using sales and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of the MICE industry, including event planning and logistics,is a plus.
  • Flexibility to travel for client meetings and industry events asrequired.
