We are looking for a dynamic and committed Associate Manager Placement to lead the placement efforts for our skilling programs in BFSI, Accounting, Retail, and other sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for forging employer partnerships, ensuring job linkages for trained candidates, and supporting post-placement tracking and retention.
Responsibilities
1. Placement Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement a comprehensive placement plan for BFSI, Accounting, Retail, and other skilling programs.
Set placement targets in alignment with training outcomes and ensure timely achievement.
2. Employer Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, recruiters, industry associations, and HR networks.
Identify job opportunities, conduct placement drives, and organize interviews for trained youth.
3. Candidate Readiness
Conduct pre-placement sessions, mock interviews, and resume-building workshops to improve employability.
Ensure candidates are industry-ready and align with employer requirements.
4. Coordination with Training Team
Collaborate with trainers and center teams to align training outcomes with market demand.
Regularly update trainers on hiring trends and job market requirements.
5. Tracking & Reporting
Maintain a detailed placement tracker, including employer details, job roles, salaries, and candidate status.
Support in post-placement tracking and candidate retention analysis.
Generate regular placement reports for internal review and donor reporting.
6. Event Participation & Representation
Represent BharatCares in job fairs, industry meets, and CSR events to build placement avenues.
7. Travel:
Travel as required to various program locations for implementation, monitoring, and stakeholder engagement.
Mandatory Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor s degree in any discipline (preferably in Commerce, Business, or Social Work).
3-4 years of proven experience in placements or employment linkages in skilling/CSR/education sector.
Good understanding of BFSI, Accounting, and Retail job roles and employer expectations.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and placement data handling.
Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to travel for employer meetings, placement drives, and field coordination.
Preferred Attributes:
Prior experience in handling CSR-led skilling projects.
Exposure to working with marginalized communities or youth employability programs.
Familiarity with government skilling schemes and compliance.
