Associate Manager - CSR and Eco Village

BharatCares is seeking an experienced and dedicated Associate Manager for our Bio-Composting project focused on CSR and Eco Village initiatives in Tumkur. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in agriculture, environmental science, climate studies, or related fields, with a passion for extensive fieldwork and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of bio-composting and Eco Village projects, ensuring alignment with CSR objectives.

• Field Operations: Conduct extensive fieldwork, including site assessments, community interactions, and project implementation in various locations.

• Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities, educating and supporting them in bio-composting and sustainable agricultural practices.

• Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to project activities, outcomes, and community impact, preparing comprehensive reports for stakeholders.

• Training and Capacity Building: Organize and conduct training sessions and workshops for community members and project staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in bio-composting and sustainability.

• Sustainability Practices: Implement and promote sustainable practices within the Eco Village, focusing on waste recycling, bio-composting, and other environmental initiatives.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with local authorities, NGOs, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and community participation.

Mandatory Qualification and Experience:

• Education: Master s or Bachelor s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Climate Studies, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of on-field experience in agriculture, environmental management, bio-composting, or related projects.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of bio-composting, sustainable agriculture, and environmental practices.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Kannada and English.

• Ability to manage extensive fieldwork and community interactions.

• Proficient in using a laptop for data collection, reporting, and communication.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license.

• Must have a personal laptop.

• Willingness to engage in extensive fieldwork and travel.
