Senior Java Developer - Microservices Architecture (8-12 yrs)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java developer to join our team and play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining critical business applications. You will leverage your in-depth knowledge of Java and modern development practices to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions while mentoring and guiding junior developers.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement complex Java applications, adhering to best practices and design patterns.

- Create well-structured, maintainable, and reusable code, focusing on modularity and testability.

- Participate in the design and development of classes and logical components to achieve system functionality.

- Contribute to the development of large-scale systems that handle transactional data and flexible business logic.

- Collaborate with database administrators to ensure efficient interaction with databases (e.g., MongoDB, SQL).

- Understand and implement containerization concepts for application deployment.

- Integrate seamlessly with professional development processes (CI/CD, Version Control, QA Frameworks) to automate builds and ensure code quality.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and developer practices.

- Develop reusable components, either microservices (e.g., Spring Boot) or large-scale components, for efficient application development.

Key Attributes and Qualifications :

- Minimum 8+ years of experience as a Java developer with a strong understanding of Java principles and core libraries.

- Proven experience designing and developing complex Java applications.

- Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.

- Familiarity with databases like MongoDB and SQL (experience with both is a plus).

- Understanding of containerization concepts (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Experience working with professional development processes (CI/CD, Version Control like Git, QA Frameworks).

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members of all levels.

- Ability to mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

- Experience with code reviews and providing constructive feedback

Useful Experience (not mandatory but a plus) :

- Experience with messaging infrastructure (e.g., Office365, Exchange, Teams, Symphony).

- Familiarity with UI frameworks like Angular.

- Knowledge of search technologies like Elasticsearch or Solr.

- Experience with open-source tools like Kafka, Storm, or Hazelcast.

- Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments.
