SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITY :

As a Cloud Engineering Lead, you'll play a critical role in designing, managing, and optimizing cloud-based infrastructure and services.

Your responsibilities will span various areas :

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Design and Development :

- Design and develop cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and services that align with the organizations requirements.

- Select the appropriate cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

- Create architecture diagrams and develop automation scripts.

Deployment and Migration :

- Deploy new applications to the cloud.

- Migrate existing applications from on-premises infrastructure to the cloud.

- Ensure seamless migration processes that don't disrupt operations.

Monitoring and Optimization :

- Monitor the performance of cloud-based systems.

- Optimize resources for cost-effectiveness and high availability.

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise.

Vendor Management :

- Collaborate with cloud service providers and vendors.

- Evaluate and manage vendor relationships.

Developer Coordination and DevOps Implementation :

- Work closely with developers, architects, and system administrators.

- Implement DevOps practices, ensuring efficient development, testing, and deployment processes.

Data Security and Compliance :

- Ensure data security measures are in place.

- Comply with industry standards and regulations

Skills Required :

1. Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

2. Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

3. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes).

4. Excellent communication and leadership skills.

5. Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field & advanced degree

preferred.

6. 10+ years of experience in technical leadership roles within the BFSI sector, with a focus on technology strategy, architecture, and innovation.

7. Deep understanding of financial services industry dynamics, including banking operations, insurance processes, regulatory requirements, and risk management.

8. Proven track record of successfully leading teams and delivering complex technology solutions in a highly regulated environment.

9. Strong technical proficiency in cloud computing, preferably with AWS, along with knowledge of relevant industry standards and frameworks

10. PCI DSS

11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and

credibility with C-level executives and technical stakeholders.

12. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, AWS Certified Security Specialty) are a plus.
