Microstrategy Report Developer

Role & responsibilities

• MicroStrategy schema definition, design, implementation and maintenance

o Experience in creating schema objects (attribute, facts, hierarchy and transformation)

• Performance tuning, testing, and troubleshooting of both new and existing BI solutions

o MSTR Performance tuning and well versed in VLDB properties

• Evaluate current and emerging BI industry trends and best practices while designing BI solutions

• Analysis and interpretation of business requirements, translation into technical requirements and specifications

• Assistance with project planning, estimating, approach definition and implementation planning

• Support, design, build and test Micro Strategy objects, projects, reports, dashboards, cubes

o MSTR Desktop Advanced Reports

o MSTR Intelligence Cube Reports

• Plan custom application lifecycle management for embedded solutions

• Participate in solution architecture, proof of concepts, and estimations

• Create application dashboards and perform automated compliance audits

• DB advanced Sql scripting

• Create security roles and security filters, schedules, subscriptions, user's group

• Having experience in creating transmitters, device and user for automated distribution service

• Follow development standards

• Knowledge on Control M is added advantage

• Advanced Metrics, Filters, custom groups, consolidation, and prompts
