Job Description:
Responsibilities:-
1. Financial Reporting: Manage the timely book closure ,preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
2. Management Reporting: Preparation of MIS and schedules
3. General Ledger Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and closing processes.
4. Internal Controls: Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard financial assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
5. Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing documentation and support during audits and ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
6. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen internal controls.
7. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and variance analysis to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement.
8. Tax Compliance: Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure compliance with tax regulations and optimize tax planning strategies.
9. Stakeholder Management-Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders
10. Ad-hoc Projects: Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management, contributing financial expertise and insights.
