Job Description
- Engage in and improve application services, high availability/reliability- from inception and design, through performance engineering, testing, analysis, and code and configuration changes.
- Lead and build the cohesive performance team, Guide Performance Engineer.
- Provide performance tuning recommendations to development teams with the goal of uplifting the customer experience. Conduct profiling and code inspections for application services.
- Continuous performance data analysis from production and Non- production and identify areas for improvement and work with project team on same.
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD processes
- Establish automated production and non-production application service performance baselines, including service level indicator (SLI), Service Level Objective (SLO) and comparison across release/versions.
- Strong collaboration with the application development team, Digital operation, system architecture teams and fine tuning the application and platform products for higher performance and resiliency.
- Driving SWAT calls in production issue and reviewing infrastructure regularly for any bottlenecks
- Requires Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems; minimum of 10-12 years of performance testing & engineering experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Cloud Certification AWS/ Azure (Preferred).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Has ability to clearly articulate his or her thoughts or ideas both verbally and in written form.
- System engineering experience working on cloud platform. (AWS, OCP, GCP)
- Experience in managing end to end NFT program which has various systems involved in it.
- Expert knowledge of performance testing tools like Loadrunner, JMeter
- Experience in application performance management tools like Wily, Appdynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk
- Hands on experience with application code instrumentation (Java, .Net, node.js & Python)
- Experience in database technologies such as MongoDB, Oracle, and DB2.
- Experience in native Mobile performance testing perfecto.
- Experience in working on Agile/Scrum Methodology.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively triage and diagnose performance issues in a production or test system across various technology stacks/platforms.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in time-sensitive, production system outages/issues
- Strategic thinking with tactical focus in Front end and back-end technologies
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, LoadRunner and monitoring tools like Datadog, Splunk, Appdynamics, Dynatrace.
- Good E2E architecture understand with web, mobile and middleware technologies
- Good communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams
