ORMB-SSE Professional

• Senior Software Engineer with experience in resolving production issues, Fixing code defects and minor enhancements.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of industry best practices, good organizational and collaboration skills, and proficiency in Java technologies.
• Understanding of IT service management concepts and should work in the production support engagement ( L1& L2 support, L3 - Bug Fixes/Enhancements).
• Identifying risk and conducting mitigation action planning.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Monitoring the production servers, scheduled jobs, incident management and receiving incidents and requests from end-users, analyzing these and either responding to the end user with a solution or escalating it to the other IT teams.
• Analyze the available data and find the root cause of the problem, all the while providing users with progress updates.
• Provide a work around if available and hand over the defect/enhancement to application maintenance / development team. Work with business users and communicate the system availability, ensure the production region jobs are monitored, and work with other IT teams to ensure files are received and acknowledged, jobs are executed/completed.
• Triage the defects or issues reported to determine, it needs a code fix and provide work around. Facilitate with Network operation center (NOC) for SWAT call for incident management and close it with Problem Management.
• Help coordination among business operations and development, teams. Problem Solving Skills and Good Communication.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelors or Masters is Computer Science/ IT or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge on Lights on i.e., Production support & Application Maintenance.

EXPERIENCE

• 4-8 years of relevant IT experience.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Experience and knowledge of ORMB , Core Java/J2EE, Spring & Hibernate, Micro services, SQL, Unix, Oracle
• Knowledge of Service management framework and should have experience on production support engagements.
• Knowledge on the Code repository like TFS, Bit Bucket, Git or VSS
• Strong knowledge on Production support
• At least 4 years of experience in Java Technologies and 2 years in production support.
• Experience and knowledge to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and internal and/or external customers.
• Possess strong analytical skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in medium to large scale enterprise applications.
• Good to have cloud (AWS/OCP) support Experience.
• Good to have Health care experience.
• Good to have Anthem/Elevance/Carelon/WGS systems.
