Job Description
- Participate in Design & Development of the Hydraulic system & selection of component for Earth moving, Mining and Construction machineries & equipment s.
- Conduct Concept and Detailed Design Reviews with the Engineering teams for NPI, NTI programs.
- Support resolving Current Product Issues (CPI) using DMAIC process and responsible for Hydraulic System DPU control.
- Project management - Collaborating with Hydraulic Components, Hydraulic Integration teams.
- Collaborate with Electronic controls & software team to prepare controls logic for hydraulic systems.
- Release and maintain component Hydraulic System Schematic Bill of material
- Collaborate with the Global/Regional purchasing and manufacturing facility teams to support the product quality & cost targets, supplier process audit, sourcing, PPAP/APQP process validation
- Troubleshoot field failures, Warranty claims, factory issues, Cost reduction project requires component evaluation / redesign
- Conduct competitive assessments at Component level & System level
- Define and execute the Virtual, On machine validation plan through DFMEA, DFMA and DVP&R
- Reliability & Warranty analysis
- Experience in Mining / Construction equipment machine hydraulics.
- Experience in Machine Regulation & Homologation standards for systems like Braking / Steering.
- Fair understanding of Hydraulic component suppliers both regional and Global.
- Demonstrates latest mobile hydraulic systems & controls.
- Experience in different mobile hydraulic systems like Open center / Closed center Load sense Systems / Closed loop Hystat Systems / Excavator controls - NFC/PFC.
- Exposure on Integrated Hydraulic Circuits
- Experience in entire vehicle hydraulic system sizing of Pumps, Motors, Cylinders, Filters, Hydraulic Reservoirs, Cooling, Hydraulic Controls.
- Able to Validate the machine & hydraulic performance - Tractive Effort/Power
- Basic Knowledge in understanding electronic interaction with Hydraulics - CAN Controls / Software Logics / Data Link / Vehicle Information s
- Proficient in ISO/NFPA Standards for Hydraulic components, Hoses & tubes.
- Hydraulic System validation - exposure on Data Acquisition.
- Hydraulics: Automation Studio / Simulink
- PLM: Creo / Teamcenter
- Data acquisition -analysis tools
- Programming - Python.
- Effective communication
- Fluent in English
- Good presentation
