Lead FTP Engineer

Role & responsibilities:

• Monitoring and ensuring all sFTP jobs are executed successfully as per the schedule timeline
• Representing sFTP team at the time of Requirement Gathering discussions, project planning sessions and in client meeting
• Analyze business requirements and designing the same
• Support estimation process for WBS/Implementation & Execution plan for Projects
• Propose and come up with application specifications, new features and upgrade plans
• Conduct Daily Stand up meetings to take stock on the progress of team on all the Deliverables
• Manage FTP related all deliverables.
• Ensure to maintain quality of sFTP code implementation, Unit testing, and releasing the code in production
• Conduct Technical and functional Sessions periodically
• Understand Incident, Change and Release management process
• Effective communication with proactive status reporting with different stakeholders in mind
• Monitoring applications and able to understand IPC process.

Preferred skillset & experience:

• Someone with at least 4 years of experience
• Having knowledge of any sFTP tools and sFTP process
• Having Good Knowledge about non-prod environments and movement of codes/configuration from non-prod to prod environment
• Nice to have hands on experience on MOVEit Automation, MOVEit Web Admin, WS_FTP Server, WS_FTP Professional, GoAnywhere, and FileZilla Server
• Nice to have hands on experience on MS SQL and PostgreSQL for generation reports as a part continuous improvement process.
• Well-versed in root cause analysis and ability to provide right solution to support requests.
• Excellent problem solving & analytical skills.
• Good verbal & written communication skills
• Flexible to work in Shifts and on weekends
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
• Should be Flexible to work in Shifts, holidays, and weekends
