Production Engineer - Painting

Role & responsibilities

JOB CONTENT

• Ensure the days production is completed with no production or quality deviation
• Supporting Head Production to Maximise the day to day production activities & OTD

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure Painting process Qualifications and up keep of paint booth in line with ASME / relevant standards.
• Ensuring painting process adherence and up keep of painting booth
• Maintaining painting consumables stock and supporting monthly sales target
• Maintaining painting record (Painting log and test certificates)
• Periodic paint procedure validation and painter qualification reviews
• Review and update paint SOP's and work instructions based on additional requirement
• Monitor and record paint parameters for special tests like Dolly / X cut
• Review paint data sheets and adhere to manufacturer's paint procedure
• Implement corrective action for customer complaints as reported due to process
• Releasing painting load on daily and weekly basis
• Ensuring FG movement on time to meet OTD and sales plan
• To ensure that the load given by planning is completed within the measurement period Accountability of materials issued to shop floor
• Ensure cleanliness of premises and safety
• Conduct kaizen events
• Ensure compliance with ISO requirements
• Timely entry of stage confirmation on SAP(ERP) for the production orders
• Ensure Updation of self log cards by operators daily and calculate weekly incentive
• Control of factory consumables and expendable tools and cost reduction
• Check the stores issued materials to Shopfloor / Assembly for Quality & Quantity

Preferred candidate profile

• 6 to 12 years in shop floor having painting & finished good experience.
• Hands on working skill in Painting
