Role & responsibilities

JOB CONTENT

Manage AGC Sanmar Limited Stores with respect to

* Overall functioning of the stores.

* Resolve Customer compliants related to packing and dispatch.

* Physical verification of inventory and maintain inventory accuracy > 95% with compliance to statutary audits

* Co-ordinating with Planning, QC, Production and ensure On Time Delivery

* Proper training to stores team & CL's

Follow rule box metrics for inward and outward material movements

*Coordinate for scrap disposal on timely basis

* Ensure full visibility of materials in the stores.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* On line data entry of all stores transactions so as to maintain stock levels in SAP

* Ensure 5S in stores on all raw materials and consumables.

* Making GRN for inward materials & services in SAP

* To co-ordinate on Receipts and issues of materials to shop with proper documentation.

* Ensure physical stock taking is done periodically

* Handling material movement and Scrap

* Material receipt, Physical counting, Verfication.

* Ensure proper documentation w.r.t QA standarads like ISO 9001 & 14001

* To arrange the stock posted items in bin location.

* To handle all types of inventory (RM, FG incl Subcontract, etc)

* Maintaining all the data related to delivery challan on a daily basis - both inwards and outward * Proper handling of dispatch to meet OTD and other requirements

*Coordinate picking and packing to support shipments.

* Shipment clearance and transpoters issues and ensure there is no shortfall in monthly shipments.

* Co-ordinating with planning, QC, Production and arrange for packing materials.

* Packing label and packing slip printing and forward note.

* Regular follow up with Sub-contract team to get back the material with the proper supporting document.

* Inventory physical verification

* Verification of materials with Sub Contract locations and related reconciliation with books of accounts at plant

* Compliance to Sanmar systems, processes and controls

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum of 12 Years of Experience in materials handling with good computing skills Hands on Experience in SAP Environment
• Preferably from Engineering / Discrete Manufacturing industry
• Should have handled a team of 3-5 regular employees and contract labours.
• Willing to settle down in Trichy
