Senior Civil Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Site Supervision and Management
• Oversee day-to-day operations and construction activities on-site.
• Ensure construction work is progressing according to plans, schedules, and specifications.
• Monitor and control materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
• Inspect and test materials to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Conduct quality checks at various stages of construction to maintain quality standards.
• Ensure all works meet statutory requirements, including health and safety regulations.
• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to resolve design and construction issues.
• Prepare and submit site reports, progress updates, and inspection reports.
• Interpret and review civil engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Provide technical advice and resolve any site issues that may arise.
• Communication with the project manager, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Maintain open communication with all team members to ensure smooth project execution.
• Attend and contribute to regular site meetings.
