Backend Developer - C#/.Net (5-6 yrs)

Summary :

Skilled Backend Developer to develop and maintain middleware services that integrate with mobile applications and enterprise platforms such as Episerver. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in .NET Core 5/6, Entity Framework, and C#, and be proficient in working with Microsoft Azure, Redis, and Azure App Insights. You will build secure, scalable APIs and backend components that serve as the digital bridge between mobile apps and core enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and build RESTful middleware services using .NET Core (5/6) and C#.

- Develop backend APIs to support mobile application features and data exchange.

- Integrate backend services with Episerver (Optimizely CMS) to fetch and manage content dynamically.

- Implement Redis caching to optimize backend performance and minimize latency.

- Integrate observability using Azure App Insights for real-time monitoring and diagnostics.

- Collaborate with mobile app teams and solution architects to define APIs and interface contracts.

- Ensure middleware is secure, scalable, and resilient under varying loads.

- Participate in Agile practices: sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in backend development with .NET Core (5 or 6) and C#.

- Strong experience in building APIs and service layers for mobile applications.

- Hands-on integration experience with Episerver (Optimizely CMS).

- Proficient in using Microsoft Azure services (App Services, App Insights, etc.).

- Knowledge of Redis for caching strategies.

- Good understanding of API security (JWT, OAuth2).

- Experience with version control (Git) and working in Agile teams.

Nice to Have :

- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or GitHub Actions.

- Knowledge of Episerver APIs, DXP, or Optimizely Commerce.

- Experience with event-driven design, message queues, or NoSQL backends

- Exposure to mobile-first architectures and offline sync strategies.

- Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework.
