1. Active Directory Domain Controllers (AD DC), DNS:
1. Install and configure domain controllers, DNS
2. Promote servers to domain controllers.
3. Configure domain and forest functional levels.
4. Set up and manage sites and subnets.
5. Configure forward and reverse lookup zones.
6. Set up DNS records (A, CNAME, MX, PTR, etc.).
2. User and Group Management:
1. Create, modify, and delete user accounts.
2. Manage group memberships.
3. Implement and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs).
4. Create and manage organizational units (OUs).
5. Create and manage primary, secondary, and stub zones.
6. Ensure proper name resolution for clients and domain controllers.
7. Troubleshoot DNS resolution issues.
8. Configure conditional forwarders and root hints.
3. Security and Compliance:
1. Adopt existing security policies and settings given by FCS.
2. Monitor and mitigate DNS attacks (e.g., cache poisoning).
3. Configure DNS logging and auditing.
4. Maintenance and Monitoring:
1. Monitor domain controller availability and performance.
2. Perform regular backups and restore operations.
3. Manage replication and resolve replication issues.
4. Apply monthly Security patches on domain controllers.
5. Monitor DNS server performance and health.
Perform regular backups of DNS zones.
