Snowflake Administrator (10-13 yrs)

Job Title : Snowflake Administrator.

Location : Bangalore, Pune, Chennai and Hyderabad (Remote).

Shift : 8:30 PM to 5:30 AM (Night Shift).

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer and support the Snowflake platform, including setup, configuration, and maintenance.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource usage.

- Implement security measures and manage user access and permissions.

- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to design and optimize data pipelines.

- Snowflake certification is required.

- 10+ years of experience in database administration, with a focus on Snowflake.

- Strong understanding of cloud data warehousing concepts and best practices.

- Proficiency in SQL and data modeling.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

- Manage Snowflake environment including user management, security, and access controls.

- Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance and resource usage.

- Implement data retention policies and ensure compliance with data governance standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve Snowflake-related issues SQL Expertise

- Develop, test, and optimize complex SQL queries and scripts.

- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to support data requirements and ensure high performance.

Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum of 4years of experience in Snowflake administration, including hands-on experience with performance tuning, SQL, and Azure cloud services.

Technical Skills :

- Expertise in Snowflake data warehouse platform.

- Proficiency in Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure Storage, Azure Data Factory).

- Strong experience with SQL performance tuning and optimization.

- Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory.

- Understanding of data governance and security best practices.
