Job Description
Job brief:
QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs while being cost-effective.
Position: Sr. QA Engineer
Experience: 6 to 7 years
Mode: Work from office only
Responsibilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively able to collaborate with multiple teams across geographically diverse areas.
- Strong Commitment to product excellence and quality.
- Good understanding of Agile development methodology and should have good knowledge of SDLC, STLC Defect Life cycle.
- Review requirements and specifications docs to understand the application functionality.
- Domain experience: Fintech, E-commerce, logistics and payment integration App.
- Should have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in Mobile application Testing (iOS/ Android)
- Should have a minimum of 3+ years of experience in Web application testing
- Hands-on Experience in Mobile Application end to end, functional, UIUX Testing on Android and iOS platforms for hybrid and native applications.
- Good understanding of Mobile Testing concepts like Network testing, Performance testing, Usability testing, Compatibility testing, Deployment Distribution testing, etc.
- Should have hands-on experience in basic security, performance and API Testing on product level project.
- Responsible for creating detailed test cases per module per project and testing them either by manual or automation testing (Automation is optional)
- Develop test cases and test data and prioritize testing activities.
- Execute all the test cases report defects and define the priority for each defect.
- Hands with concepts of ATDD and BDD and experience to handle the client UAT demo session and the feedback points.
Requirements:
- Self-starter with a strong "can do" belief, committed to delivering quality results on aggressive timelines.
- Effectively able to work independently with little hands-on supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to understand customers needs, expectations, and perspectives.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask on multiple projects, with good time management skills and staying focused.
