Job Summary:

As an Equipment Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical), you will be instrumental in maintaining the seamless operation of our production machinery by swiftly identifying and addressing mechanical failures, focusing particularly on mechanical components and systems. Your specialized knowledge will be pivotal in upholding our stringent manufacturing benchmarks and reducing equipment downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of any mechanical faults in the equipment to identify and address any issues before they escalate.
• Interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints to understand equipment specifications and assembly instructions.
• Perform regular checks to identify potential issues, develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules
• Work closely with the production team to understand machinery requirements and address any mechanical concerns promptly.
• Utilize engineering drawing software to create and modify technical drawings as needed for maintenance or fabrication purposes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement maintenance plans and procedures that optimize equipment performance and longevity.
• Stay current with advancements in mechanical engineering technology and practices, incorporating new knowledge into maintenance strategies where applicable.

Qualifications:

• Diploma,degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues effectively.
• Proven experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of fabrication processes and techniques, including welding, machining, and assembly.
• Familiarity with industrial machinery and electronic control systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
