Corporate Social Responsibility (Employee Volunteering)

The CSR and Employee Volunteering Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing corporate social responsibility programs and employee volunteering initiatives across 18 plant locations and 15 plus market offices. This role aims to enhance the company's community engagement efforts, promote a culture of volunteerism among employees, and ensure alignment with the company's values and strategic goals.

Principal Responsibilities

• Create , Design, implement, and oversee CSR/CER Employee volunteering programs that align with our corporate values and community needs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize social impact initiatives and opportunities
• Coordinate and manage volunteer events, ensuring they run smoothly and effectively engage participants.
• Build and maintain relationships with non-profit organizations, community groups, and other stakeholders to foster partnerships that enhance our CSR efforts and reach of the Employee society relationships.
• Nurture Employee participation in community events and represent the company in a positive light.
• Develop communication to promote CSR volunteering opportunities to employees and also project the same to internal and external stakeholders.
• Organize training and informational sessions to educate employees about social responsibility and volunteerism.
• Track and report on the impact of CSR and employee volunteering initiatives, including metrics and outcomes.
• Prepare regular reports for management to highlight achievements and opportunities for improvement.

Secondary Responsibilities

1. Take accountability of the Invoicing to delivery process

2. Identify, engage, and collaborate with key stakeholders, in addition to employees, customers, suppliers, NGOs, and local communities, to understand their concerns and involve them in CSR efforts

3. Manage the bookkeeping of all the CSR related compliance documents

4. Develop systems and processes that reduce manual intervention.

5. Prepare CSR reports and presentation as per process to provide transparency

6. Maintain and update the calendar of Volunteering events month on Month and around the Year.

7. Provide briefs and work with Marketing / Internal communication team to amplify and share stories of volunteering and help develop pride towards Coromandel.

8. Manage project budgets, disbursements, and financial utilization tracking.

9. Promote responsible business practices, including diversity and inclusion, ethical sourcing, fair labor practices, and community development.

10. Manage relationships between partner NGOs, Volunteers, and Business leaders.

Qualifications:

• Masters in social work (MSW)/MA Sociology or Master’s degree in a related field from a reputed university/institution is a must
• Should have proven and Strong skills in MS- Office tools with proficiency in Excel and Power point.
• Knowledge of SAP would be desirable.

Experience

5-8 years+ of experience in CSR or Community Relations project management domain, with at least 4 years hands of experience in leading community developmental and employee volunteering projects in large manufacturing and process Companies with CSR.

Strong knowledge of CSR principles, sustainability practices, and industry standards.
