Job Description:
- As a Product Manager, you will own the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, working closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and business.
- You will define the product roadmap, prioritize features, and ensure successful execution by collaborating with various stakeholders.
- Your ultimate goal is to deliver products that meet user needs, business objectives, and are aligned with the company's overall strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for travel-related platforms and services.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and synthesize business requirements, user needs, and market trends.
- Prioritize product features based on business impact, user experience, and technical feasibility.
- Translate business goals into detailed product requirements, wireframes, and user stories for development teams.
- Manage the product lifecycle from concept through to delivery, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to ensure seamless delivery of features and functionality.
- Conduct user research, analyze user behavior, and gather feedback to inform product decisions.
- Drive product innovation by staying ahead of industry trends and identifying new opportunities for growth.
- Develop success metrics and continuously monitor the performance of your products to iterate and improve.
- Ensure smooth product launches, including coordination with marketing, sales, and support teams.
Requirements:
Must-Have:
- Experience: 4-7 years of product management experience, preferably in a technology, travel, or e-commerce space.
- Product Leadership: Strong track record of owning and delivering successful digital products.
- Analytical: Data-driven approach to decision-making, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Collaboration: Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, and business teams.
- Agile Development: Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and managing backlogs in tools like JIRA.
- User-Centric: Deep understanding of user experience and an ability to empathize with user needs.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
Nice to Have:
- Technical Background: Basic understanding of backend and frontend technologies (NodeJS, MySQL, MongoDB, ReactJS).
- Travel Domain Expertise: Experience working in the travel or hospitality industry is a plus.
- Project Management: Familiarity with project management tools like Asana, Trello, or similar.
