Creativefuel - Senior Backend Engineer - Java/Kotlin (5-8 yrs)

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Java (8+ years), Kotlin (5+ years), and GraphQL (3+ years) to design, develop, and operate backend services that support drivers in their daily activities like navigation, preferences, and authentication.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop scalable, testable, and observable backend services for a global mobile application.

- Implement backend service solutions, including cloud infrastructure setup, monitoring, alerting, and integration with 3rd-party APIs.

- Collaborate with mobile app developers, 3rd-party API developers, and software architects to build the best experience for Honda drivers.

- Troubleshoot production issues and work on developing and releasing hotfixes.

- Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline infrastructure for continuous integration and delivery.

Required Skills :

- 5-8 years of experience with both Java and Kotlin (expertise in either one is acceptable).

- 3+ years of experience with GraphQL APIs, including query tuning and managing multiple resolvers.

- Proven track record of shipping performant API integrations and interfaces.

- Experience with a major cloud provider such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.

- Strong experience in architecting, building, and operating cloud-native backend services.

- A flexible attitude and entrepreneurial mindset, with the willingness to engage outside your usual responsibility area and tackle new challenges.

- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormatio
