SAP ABAP Consultant - OData/HANA (5-7 yrs)

Job Description :

An SAP ABAP Developer specializing in ODATA and HANA is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced SAP solutions. This role involves working with SAP S/4 HANA, ODATA services, and CDS views to meet business requirements and enhance system performance.

Role : SAP ABAP Consultant

Key Responsibilities :

Development :

- Design and develop custom SAP applications using ABAP, ODATA services, and HANA technologies.

- Create and manage CDS views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), and other advanced data modeling techniques in SAP HANA.

- Implement and maintain ODATA services for seamless integration with various SAP and non-SAP systems.

- Work on SAP Fiori/UI5 development and integrate with backend SAP systems

Technical Support :

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP HANA and ODATA services.

- Provide support for system upgrades and performance tuning.

Collaboration :

- Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Work independently and as part of a team to deliver solutions within deadlines.

- Develop and maintain technical documentation for all custom developments and system enhancements.

- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and coding standards.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 5-7 years of experience in SAP industry, with at least 2 years in SAP S/4 HANA.

- Strong programming skills in ABAP, including ABAP Objects and ODATA services.

- Extensive experience with SAP HANA, including CDS views and AMDP [4].

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
