Manager Mines

The Mines Manager is responsible for overseeing all mining operations at the site, ensuring safety, productivity, and compliance with statutory regulations. The role includes planning, organizing, directing, and managing mine activities, including extraction, resource planning, equipment maintenance, and labor management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with the Mines Act, DGMS regulations, and other statutory guidelines.
  
• Plan and supervise daily operations related to drilling, blasting, excavation, hauling, and mineral extraction.
  
• Manage workforce, including supervisors, operators, and support staff to maintain safety and productivity.
  
• Conduct regular safety drills, training programs, and inspections.
  
• Monitor mine production targets and ensure optimum utilization of resources.
  
• Prepare and submit periodic reports to regulatory bodies and company leadership.
  
• Manage environmental compliance and ensure implementation of sustainable mining practices.
  
• Handle procurement, maintenance, and logistics of mining equipment and consumables.
  
• Maintain effective communication with government authorities, contractors, and internal departments.
