Assistant Logistics Manager

Job Purpose:

The Assistant Manager Logistics supports the logistics operations of the company by coordinating courier partners and and its operations. The role ensures timely and cost-effective delivery of goods, and contributes to improving operational efficiency along with Customer Satification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and managing logistics, transportation, and customer services.
• Support the development and implementation of logistics strategies and processes.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels; ensure accuracy and timely replenishment.
• Coordinate with vendors, freight forwarders, and internal teams for shipment scheduling and tracking.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations, health & safety, and company policies.
• Resolve delivery issues and respond to customer complaints in a timely manner.
• Assist in preparing logistics performance reports and analyzing KPIs (e.g., delivery time, shipping costs).
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Support team training and supervise junior staff when necessary.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. (B.Tech Preferred)
• Experience: 2-3 years in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations; experience in a supervisory or assistant managerial role is preferred.

• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of logistics software (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP systems).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
